Feedback and Mentoring

An associate advisor facilitates each summer associate's introduction to the firm.  Advisors are paired with summer associates at the beginning of the summer and are available throughout their time here to answer questions and to give advice.  We recognize that to many law students, law firm life can seem foreign; our advisor program, and our summer program in general, are geared toward eliminating any mystery.  We believe that what we do is rewarding and can't wait to share that experience with our summer associates.

We recognize that not only is feedback an important component of the summer associate learning experience, but it also serves as an introduction to what we value in work product and participation.  After each assignment, the assigning attorney reviews the summer associate through an informal meeting.  Summer associates also receive formal, mid-summer reviews and end-of-summer interviews.  Of course, summer associates are invited and encouraged throughout the summer to discuss their work with any member of the firm.
