Jonathan Cooper and Noah Weiss speak at the Illinois Paralegal Association Fall Education Conference
The presentation will provide an overview of the commercial lending laws of several countries and discuss how lenders structure their loans to address issues posed by these laws. The presentation will discuss, among other things, how to obtain a lien on assets located in a foreign jurisdiction, how to determine priority of the lien and how to enforce the lien.
