Kathryn A. Pamenter, Counsel in the law firm of Goldberg, Kohn, Bell, Black, Rosenbloom & Moritz, Ltd., was recently appointed Chair of the Chicago Network of the International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC).

Founded in 1994, IWIRC's mission is to enhance the professional status and reputation of women in the insolvency practice. The organization provides opportunities for networking, professional development, leadership and mentoring on local and international levels. Its membership includes attorneys, bankers, corporate-turnaround professionals, financial advisors and other professionals, both women and men.

The organization has more than 800 members worldwide, with active networks in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Europe, as well as in several major markets in the USA.
