Goldberg Kohn and Otterbourg, Steindler, Houston & Rosen co-hosted the Commercial Finance Association's first International Asset-Based Lending Workshop in Chicago

Goldberg Kohn and New-York based Otterbourg, Steindler, Houston & Rosen organized and co-hosted the Commercial Finance Association's first International Asset-Based Lending Workshop in Chicago on April 18 and 19.  In addition to representatives of the Goldberg Kohn and Otterbourg firms, panelists included lawyers and businesspeople from Bank of America, General Electric Capital Corporation, Bank of Montreal, and LaSalle National Bank, as well as lawyers from England, The Netherlands, Brazil, Hong Kong, Germany and Mexico. Attendees included representatives of many major financial institutions. The focus of the workshop was analyzing, structuring, and working out international asset-based loans.  Based on its success this year, the CFA plans to make this an annual conference.
