Vets Fight For Rights Promised By FDR

As a result of recent activism on behalf of the Filipino community by Vanessa Vergara, co-chair of the Chicago chapter of the Filipino Civil Rights Advocates and an associate at Goldberg Kohn, NBC News aired the following report related to the fight by Filipino WWII vets for veterans benefits that were promised them by the United States during the war and then retracted by the government when the war was over.
