Jeremy M. Downs, principal in the firm's Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Group, will moderate and David L. Dranoff, Chair of the firm's Commercial Finance Group, will speak at the Commercial Finance Association Midwest Chapter's Auto Industry Forum entitled, "Is There a Pot o' Gold at the End of the Rainbow?," on March 11, 2010, in Chicago.

The evening will include St. Patty’s Day specialties and a panel discussion on lending to the automotive supply industry. In addition to Mr. Downs and Mr. Dranoff, panelists will include Paul Melville, Principal in the Restructuring & Turnarounds group at Grant Thornton LLP, and John M. Stewart, SVP & Regional Manager at Wells Fargo Capital Finance.

The panel will discuss whether there is money ("pot o' gold") to be made in the auto supply lending market - now, soon or never? There are literally hundreds of companies in the Midwest region that qualify as "auto," and they have been largely dry of new money for a long time.
