RadioShack Gaffe Shows Need to Screen Current Employees

Goldberg Kohn principal Michael Sullivan was quoted in a Workforce Management article about the importance of companies screening their current employees. Mr. Sullivan offered his insight regarding employers thoughts on screening: "They don't want to seem like Big Brother. At the very least, public companies should be able to show that they do screen employees before promoting them to top positions. What frustrates shareholders most is if it looks like the company dropped the ball."
