Our Tax-Exempt Finance Group is a coordinated, versatile group of experienced business counselors and advocates who understand and help to achieve the business objectives of all clients. In addition to serving as issuer's counsel, attorneys in our Tax-Exempt Finance Group have represented borrowers, underwriters and credit enhancers in municipal finance transactions, including issuances of general obligation bonds, tender notes, tax anticipation warrants, special facility revenue bonds, general obligation refunding bonds, limited tax bonds, unlimited tax bonds with a designated revenue source, and industrial revenue bonds. We have also represented the borrower in the first non-credit-enhanced charter school bond issue in the State of Illinois at an investment-grade level and have substantial knowledge about public-private transactions, built upon a range of experience with such projects.
