Ross Friedman is an associate in the firm's Corporate, Securities & Tax Group. His practice focuses on a variety of corporate and business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate agreements, incorporation and dissolution of businesses, and corporate finance deals. Mr. Friedman has experience drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements including purchase agreements, distribution agreements, executive compensation agreements, confidentiality agreements, non-competition agreements, private label agreements, and other similar types of agreements. He has experience representing clients in a variety of industries, including food, service, manufacturing, and financial.
Mr. Friedman is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Indiana. He received his law degree, magna cum laude, from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2013, where he was an editor of the Indiana Law Journal and named to the Order of the Coif. He received his B.A. in Music and Political Science with high honors from Emory University in 2010 where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Mr. Friedman is also a member of the Chicago Bar Association Symphony Orchestra.
