Michael Hainen is a principal in the firm's Commercial Finance Group. His practice focuses on representing financial institutions in the documentation, negotiation and closing of a wide range of loan transactions. His work has included single and multi-bank asset-based and cash-flow loans, workouts and restructurings of distressed debt, leveraged buyouts, mezzanine financings, and cross-border finance transactions.

At Vanderbilt University, Mr. Hainen was a member of the Order of the Coif and an articles editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review.
