Ann Chen is an associate in the firm's Litigation and Labor & Employment Groups. Ms. Chen’s practice focuses on commercial litigation. She has represented a variety of clients in employment matters, defending against claims of discrimination based on race, national origin, age, and disability, and provided advice to clients on issues related to non-compete clauses and executive compensation. She also has experience in intellectual property matters including trademark infringement and prosecution, false advertising in federal court and before the National Advertising Division, and unfair competition. Ms Chen has represented pro bono clients in a class action civil rights case in federal court. Prior to joining Goldberg Kohn, Ms. Chen was a law clerk to the Honorable Adalberto J. Jordan, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Ms. Chen received her law degree in 2003 from the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as an executive editor of the Michigan Law Review and president of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. She received her B.A. in political science in 1997 from Yale University. Ms. Chen is admitted to practice in Illinois, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. Education
