Overview

Emily Edsenga is a Principal in the firm's Commercial Finance Group. She represents banks, finance companies and other financial institutions in structuring, negotiating and documenting asset-based and cash flow loans involving borrowers in a wide-range of industries, including manufacturing, business services, retail, software and technology.

Emily has extensive experience handling acquisition financings, refinancings, dividend recapitalization transactions, working capital facilities, split-lien and first-lien/second-lien transactions, mezzanine financings and other complex financial transactions, as well as workouts and restructurings. She also has experience representing corporate borrowers and private equity sponsors in connection with acquisition financings and other commercial finance transactions.

In May 2021, Emily was profiled in The Secured Lender's Sixth Annual "Women in Secured Finance" issue, which recognizes women who have had a significant impact on the industry's future.

Emily joined Goldberg Kohn in January 2012 and serves as Member of the firm's Recruiting Committee.
