Overview

Keith Radner is a Principal in the firm's Commercial Finance Group. He represents lenders in the negotiation, documentation and closing of a broad range of financing transactions. He is experienced in handling asset-based secured loans, leveraged buy-out transactions, multi-bank facilities and mezzanine financings, as well as loan restructurings and workouts. 

Keith also has experience working on cross-border transactions, primarily involving Europe and North America. 

Professional Background

Keith joined Goldberg Kohn in October 1999 after working for several years as an associate with an international law firm. Prior to his legal career, he worked at a large Midwestern bank in various positions, including as a commercial loan review officer, private banking officer and commercial credit analyst.  

While attending the University of Illinois he was an associate editor of the University of Illinois Law Review.  

Experience

  • Represented Administrative Agent in a $95 million senior secured revolving and term loan facility to a designer and producer of packaging materials entered into in connection with the acquisition of borrower and its subsidiaries by a private equity fund.  
  • Represented Administrative Agent in $75 million asset-based revolving loan facility to a provider of high specification mobile rig well services, cased hole wireline services and ancillary services to the U.S. oil and gas industry. 
  • Represented Administrative Agent in a $60 million split-lien asset based secured revolving facility to a manufacturer and supplier of paper and tissue products for use in food, medical and specialty markets entered into in connection with the acquisition of borrower and its subsidiaries by a private equity fund. 
  • Represented Administrative Agent in a $50 million split-lien asset based secured revolving facility to a provider of a wide range of aircraft, passenger and security services entered into in connection with the acquisition of borrower and its subsidiaries by a private equity fund. 
  • Represented Administrative Agent in a $18.1 million senior secured revolving and term loan facility to a developer and manufacturer of advanced polyurethane components entered into in connection with the acquisition of borrower and its subsidiaries by a private equity fund
