Application Manager

Goldberg Kohn's Information Technology department is seeking an Application Manager. Under the general supervision of the Chief Information Officer, the Application Manager will be responsible for the timely creation, quality and management of data application coding and principles used in all practice and administrative areas of the Firm. Applications can be developed by third parties or purchased.

Firm support duties include assisting, advising, and supporting managers, directors, and attorneys in practice and administrative areas of the Firm on technology solutions, best practices, integration capabilities for existing or newly acquired Firm systems, and technology aided business/process workflow improvements.

This position requires a high degree of business, technical, organizational and communication skills. Travel may be required. Additional required education and experience includes:

  • Proficiency utilizing MS Office Suite (on prem, hybrid, and cloud-based)
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter; must be able to manage multiple, competing deadlines and prioritize work accordingly
  • PMP Certification is required. If not currently certified, then certification must be accomplished within 18 months of hire
  • Five plus years of experience in a Law firm or other professional service organization in an application management or lead role

Desired Education and Experience:

  • College Degree with a major in Computer Science or related field of study.
  • Experience with Elite 3E, SQL, HTML, AWS, Adobe, Java, Agility, System Life Cycle (SLC), UltiPro, OpenText, NetDocuments, Intellistat, WestKM, Record Management Systems and other legal products from Thomson Reuters, Litera, and IntApp.
  • Litigation support with iBlaze, Summation, Concordance or related software.
  • Web and Intranet Development Expertise.

Financial/Reporting Analyst

Goldberg Kohn's accounting department is seeking a Financial/Client Reporting Analyst to perform a variety of accounting and reporting duties according to established policies and procedures, which may include monthly and on-demand reporting and analysis. The Financial/Reporting Analyst will maintain contact with attorneys, staff and clients and observe confidentiality in client and Firm matters.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a law firm or other professional service organization, a college degree with a major in accounting or finance, and experience working with the Elite 3E accounting system.

Education and experience include:

  • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite of applications
  • Experience utilizing financial management software (3E – Thomson Reuters preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of financial operations and processes including billing and e-billing processes
  • Ability to analyze and present financial data to support management decisions
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter; must be able to manage multiple, competing deadlines and prioritize work accordingly
