Chief Financial Officer

Goldberg Kohn is seeking a highly motivated financial professional with 10+ years of experience to join as an Executive member of our Business Operations Team as Chief Financial Officer.

This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and works closely with the firm’s Finance Committee. Candidates must have ‎a background in leadership and management of an accounting department or financial analytics department.

Goldberg Kohn provides a solid IT platform and sophisticated tools for financial management systems and performing financial analysis. Core responsibilities include general financial management, supervision of accounting staff, payroll, financial analysis and reporting, financial budgets and forecasts, billing and collections, and profitability analysis.

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required, MBA preferred. A designation of CPA or CMA, legal services, and 3E Law Firm Management software experience are preferred.

Goldberg Kohn is a firm with approximately 100 lawyers with its sole physical office located in Chicago, IL.  The firm has embraced hybrid work models with personnel residing in various locations around the U.S.  With a significant commercial finance practice, the firm counsels clients ranging from private to Fortune 50 companies and has built a reputation for great work, being great to work with, and great to work for.
