David Chizewer, a Principal in the firm's Litigation Group, is quoted in "Pointed Questions Suggest Longer FCA Time Limit Is Likely," published in the March 20, 2019, edition of Law360.

The article discusses the U.S. Supreme Court case of Cochise Consultancy Inc. et al v. U.S. ex rel. Hunt in regards to whether a different statute of limitations should apply to False Claims Act cases where the government has declined to intervene.

"My prediction is that the case will be decided 9-0 in favor of the relator's positions."
~ David Chizewer

Mr. Chizewer, who attended the oral arguments, was strong in his belief that the high court would apply the same statute of limitations regardless of government intervention. "My prediction is that the case will be decided 9-0 in favor of the relator's positions," Mr. Chizewer said, "I think the court will ultimately determine that the statute is clear enough and that the countervailing arguments are not supported by text."
