On December 13, 2013, the Northern District of Illinois entered a decision granting Abbott Laboratories summary judgment on a claim of race discrimination in the case of Hubbard v. Abbott Laboratories. The plaintiff, a former production operator, claimed that he was discharged in violation of Title VII on account of his race. David Morrison, an attorney in Goldberg Kohn's Labor & Employment and Litigation Groups, defended Abbott Laboratories in the case.
