Dimitri G. Karcazes, principal in the firm's Bankruptcy & Creditors' Right Group, will present on a panel at the Turnaround Management Association's Chicago/Midwest Chapter's Double Header Event on May 11, 2010, in Chicago.

Mr. Karcazes will speak on a panel during the morning session entitled, "13-Week Cash Flow," which will focus on the theoretical elements and practical applications of cash budgets for companies in financial distress. It will include a comprehensive study of the principles of cash budgeting with a particular emphasis on working capital management, key model assumptions and drivers, and the contexts and applications of cash flow models relative to the priorities of various parties-in-interest of complex capital structures. It will also include the analysis and performance of borrowing base calculations and a liquidation analysis.

The afternoon session entitled, "Strategic Alternatives for Distressed Businesses," will focus on the options available to CEOs and their advisors when the cash—and patience—run out. Participants will learn from an interactive panel discussion on the alternative processes and tools most effectively and commonly used by businesses and their lenders in distressed circumstances.

Mr. Karcazes is a frequent speaker on bankruptcy and commercial finance issues. He has given recent presentations on debtor-in-possession financing, exercising remedies under stock pledge agreements, intercreditor issues, buying and selling distressed assets, asbestos bankruptcies and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.
