On May 15th, Sally Nuamah, a former Goldberg Kohn Chicago Scholars intern, was recognized by Changing Worlds for her contributions in making a difference in the community. Sally is a scholar, advocate and filmmaker who traveled to Ghana in 2009 to interview local women and follow their educational achievements.
She was awarded the Princeton Prize by Princeton University Alumni for her work in improving race relations. Sally is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Northwestern University, where she seeks to combine film and research to bridge studies on disadvantaged populations. Goldberg Kohn is honored to have Sally as an alumnus and we wish her much success in her endeavors.
