Goldberg Kohn is proudly sponsoring the CBA Young Lawyers Section's "Forty Years of Love" fundraiser benefitting the Edward J. Lewis II Lawyers in the Classroom Program.
For more than 40 years, the Edward J. Lewis II Lawyers in the Classroom program has placed attorney volunteers into 2nd-8th grade classrooms to help students better understand the U.S. Constitution, our legal system and law-related careers. Following the program launch in the late 1980s, Edward J. Lewis II, law firm partner and child advocate, expanded the program to 100 attorneys in the early 1990s. Currently, the program has more than 600 participating attorneys, reaching 60 schools in the Chicagoland area.
The fundraiser will be held April 11, 2024, at AceBounce Lounge, 230 North Clark Street.
It will include ping pong, music, refreshments, and a silent auction where attendees can bid on a variety of items and experiences.
