Jim Rosenbloom and Mike Manuel, principals in the firm's Real Estate group, represented the Board of Trade of the City of Chicago, Inc. ("CBOT") in the sale today of two of the three buildings located at 141 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, Illinois to GlenStar Properties, LLC and USAA Real Estate Company. They also represented Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Inc. ("CME") in connection with the leaseback of approximately 148,000 square feet. CBOT and CME are subsidiaries of CME Group, Inc., a publicly traded company.
CME will be the buildings' largest tenant, confirming their commitment to Chicago and retaining trading floors and office space in each of the buildings.
