David Morrison Quoted on SHRM.org
David Morrison, a principal in the firm's Litigation and Labor & Employment groups, was quoted recently on the SHRM.org website in an article entitled "Employee Can Proceed with Bias Lawsuit Despite Failure to File EEOC Charge" regarding the Fort Bend County v. Davis Title VII case. The article discusses the case recently decided by the United States Supreme Court, where the court sided with the employee and left the onus on the employer to timely assert in court the employee's failure to meet the charge-filing requirements before the EEOC.
