Raúl Paniahua Joins Goldberg Kohn as an Associate in the Commercial Finance Group
Raúl Paniahua has joined Goldberg Kohn as an Associate in the firm’s Commercial Finance Group. He represents companies and financial institutions in transactions related to mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance regulation, and corporate finance. He also has experience working in the insurance and reinsurance industries.
Mr. Paniahua earned his LL.M. at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2022 and a Diploma in Antitrust Law from the Universidad Panamericana in 2019. He received his Law Degree (J.D. Equivalent) at Universidad Iberoamericana in 2015.
Prior to joining Goldberg Kohn, Mr. Paniahua practiced at the Mexico City, Mexico, law firms of Gonzalez Calvillo and Nader, Hayaux & Goebel. In addition, he was involved with pro bono organizations, including the Fundacion Gonzalez Calvillo and the Fundacion Barra Mexicana, where he provided legal counsel and assistance in civil, corporate and labor matters.
