Patrick Cronin is an associate in the firm's Commercial Finance Group. He represents financial institutions in documenting, negotiating and performing due diligence for asset-based and cash-flow commercial finance transactions. He also has experience representing buyers and sellers in mergers, acquisitions and leveraged buy-out transactions. Mr. Cronin has also worked on various pro bono matters with a focus on representing artists and arts institutions.

Prior to joining Goldberg Kohn he was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis, where he represented private equity clients and their portfolio companies in merger and acquisition transactions.

Mr. Cronin is admitted to practice law in Illinois. He received his law degree from the Columbia Law School in 2011 where he was an editor on the Journal of Law and the Arts and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. After graduating law school, he clerked in the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana for Judge Elizabeth Erny Foote and in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois for Judge Sara Ellis. He received his B.A. in Philosophy summa cum laude from Boston College in 2007.
