
Nicole Bruno is an Associate in the firm’s Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Group. She primarily represents lenders in the protection and enforcement of creditors' rights in commercial workouts and bankruptcies, including restructurings, reorganizations, sales, liquidations, receiverships, assignments for the benefit of creditors, and debt for equity transactions.
Ms. Bruno joined Goldberg Kohn in September 2019 and is a member of the firm's Diversity Committee.
She earned her J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2019. While attending law school, she served as an Executive Editor for the Journal of International Law and Business. She also served as a Legal Extern in the City of Chicago's Department of Law, Finance and Economic Development Division, and as a Legal Intern for Oxfam America, where she researched and wrote memoranda analyzing factual and domestic legal issues for the Private Sector Department.
Ms. Bruno received her B.A., magna cum laude, in English from the University of California Los Angeles in 2012. She is admitted to practice in Illinois.
