The female attorneys of Goldberg Kohn hosted their Ninth Annual ENGAGE event on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, benefitting Apna Ghar women's shelter. The Chicago Lawyer Network Social Scene featured a photograph from the event.
"Stitch: ENGAGE in the Loop" was attended by more than 100 professional women from 58 different companies. In addition to enjoying appetizers and networking, the guests learned the basics of knitting from the instructors of Sister Arts Studio.
Thanks to the generosity of the event attendees, more than 150 pounds of basic toiletry items and hundreds of dollars in gift cards were collected and donated to Apna Ghar.
