Paul J. "PJ" Sauerteig has joined Goldberg Kohn as an Associate in the Litigation Group. He represents clients in both state and federal litigation, with a focus on intellectual property matters, including copyright and trademark litigation.

Prior to joining Goldberg Kohn, Mr. Sauerteig was an associate at Winston & Strawn LLP, where he supported large-scale litigations and investigations, with a focus on intellectual property litigation and appeals.

Mr. Sauerteig earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2019, where he served as web editor of the NYU Journal of Intellectual Property & Entertainment Law and was the 2019 recipient of the Larry Fleisher Memorial Foundation Prize for extraordinary achievement in the area of Sports and Entertainment Law.

Mr. Sauerteig received his B.A. in Creative Writing, with a concentration in Psychology from Columbia University in 2015, cum laude. Prior to pursuing his legal career, he recorded and performed as a professional musician, and founded the boutique record label, Massif Records. Mr. Sauerteig has also published cultural criticism and poetry, and was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2016.
