Yasamin Kaye has joined Goldberg Kohn as an Associate in the firm's Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Group. She concentrates her practice on financial restructuring, bankruptcy, general commercial litigation and distressed real estate foreclosures. She represents debtors, creditors, trustees and committees in bankruptcy proceedings, and is experienced in Chapter 11 reorganizations and Chapter 7 liquidations.
Ms. Kaye is also experienced in prosecuting foreclosure actions for a wide variety of commercial properties, including hotels and shopping centers. She has successfully petitioned for the appointment of receivers and prosecuted breaches of guaranties.
Previously Ms. Kaye was an Associate in the Chicago office of an international law firm. She earned her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2015, and her B.A. in Linguistics and Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2012.
