Overview

Yasamin Kaye is a Senior Attorney in the firm's Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Group concentrating on financial restructuring, bankruptcy, general commercial litigation and distressed real estate foreclosures. She represents debtors, creditors, trustees and committees in bankruptcy proceedings, and is experienced in Chapter 11 reorganizations and Chapter 7 liquidations.

Yasamin is also experienced in prosecuting foreclosure actions for a wide variety of commercial properties, including hotels and shopping centers. She has successfully petitioned for the appointment of receivers and prosecuted breaches of guaranties. Her recent presentations have included: "Out of Court Workouts in the COVID Era," an American Bar Association Business Law Section CARES/COVID-19 webinar, August 10, 2020.

Since 2021, Yasamin has been recognized annually in "The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch" publication in the areas of Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law.
