On October 28, 2019, <strong><a href="https://www.goldbergkohn.com/people/david-e-morrison/">David Morrison</a></strong>, a Principal in Goldberg Kohn's Litigation and Labor &amp; Employment groups, will participate in a panel entitled, "Ins and Outs of Trade Secrets and Non-Competes."&nbsp;

The panelists will discuss current topics in trade secret litigation, including the new popularity of trade secrets, the Uniform Trade Secrets Act and the Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016, and the differences between the two. They will evaluate DTSA seizure cases and discuss reasonable versus non-reasonable measures for seizure. They will also address onboarding and exiting high value employees, tips for trade secret owners, trade secret trends and litigation considerations.&nbsp;

Mr. Morrison's co-presenters will be Laura Hallmon of Cantey Hanger and Tyler Paetkau of Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves &amp; Savitch. The panel will be presented at a <strong><a href="https://www.meritas.org/">Meritas</a></strong> meeting.
