Goldberg Kohn Among Deal Team Finalists for 2010 M&A Advisor Awards
Goldberg Kohn is pleased to announce that M&A Advisor has selected our client, Huron Capital Partners, as a finalist for the 2010 M&A Advisor Awards. Huron Capital Partners was chosen in the Middle-Market Deal of the Year category for its sale of Ross Education.
The firm was recognized for its active role on the Ross Education deal team. Goldberg Kohn attorneys William Loesch, Deni Caplan, Vanessa Bachtell and Stephen Legatzke were instrumental in the deal, along with BMO Capital Markets and accounting firm Clayton McKervey, P.C.
“In 2010, we witnessed continued growth in M&A and, as a result of the challenging market conditions, creative deal-making has really flourished,” said Roger Aguinaldo, CEO of The M&A Advisor. “I’m particularly impressed by the number of corporate and strategic transactions that were submitted. The firms that have successfully accomplished deals this year are eager to share their achievements, resulting in the largest number of nominations in the 9 year history of our Awards.”
This year’s finalists represent the leading firms in the industry and some of the most significant transactions. Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala in New York City on December 14, 2010. For more information please visit www.maadvisor.com.
