Goldberg Kohn is honored to once again sponsor the Secured Finance Network's Cross-Border Finance Essay Contest. The prize competition will be open to an author or co-authors employed by any SFNet member company.

Essays can be on any topic dealing with Cross-Border Finance, which is defined to include asset-based lending, factoring, receivables purchases and other forms of cross-border trade finance. For example, an essay might be about a unique or innovative deal structure and how it was created and implemented, or might address regulation of international finance, developments in secured transactions law that affect cross-border secured finance, deal trends, or a historical look at how international finance has contributed to major world developments.

Essays will be judged on content, originality, clarity, structure and overall contribution to furthering and expanding understanding within the field of cross-border finance. Essays will be judged by the members of the SFNet International Finance and Development Committee, and winners will be announced no later than July 5, 2023.

Three winning essays will be chosen for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Winning essays will be published in The Secured Lender magazine and all three winners will have the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion at the SFNet Annual Convention.
