Overview

Jonathan Dussik is an associate in Goldberg Kohn's Litigation Group. He represents clients in a wide variety of complex commercial litigation and disputes in both federal and state courts. He also advises clients in anticipation of potential litigation.

Jonathan is experienced in all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, briefing dispositive and other motions, taking and defending depositions, and handling day-to-day case management.

Jonathan was recognized in the 2026 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America in the area of Commercial Litigation.

Professional Background

Prior to joining Goldberg Kohn in March 2025, Jonathan was an associate in the Commercial Litigation and Disputes practice at Sidley Austin. While there, he worked on a variety of cases, including False Claims Act, breach of contract cases, various business torts, securities fraud matters and ERISA disputes.

After graduating from the University of Chicago Law School in 2019, Jonathan clerked for the Hon. James Wesley Hendrix of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, drafting opinions, orders and memoranda, and conducting in-depth legal research. He also was a PILI Fellow with Legal Aid Chicago, where he provided legal assistance to underserved clients.

Throughout his professional career, and while in law school, Jonathan has maintained an active pro bono practice. In addition to Legal Aid Chicago, he has worked with the National Immigrant Justice Center and the Woodlawn Legal Clinic.
