Raúl Paniahua Joins Goldberg Kohn as an Associate in the Commercial Finance Group
Overview
Raúl Paniahua is an Associate in the firm’s Commercial Finance Group. He represents banks and other financial institutions primarily engaged in middle-market lending activities in documenting and negotiating asset-based and cash-flow commercial finance transactions both domestic and cross-border.
Prior to joining Goldberg Kohn in June 2022, Raúl worked at two prominent law firms in Mexico City where he represented clients of all sizes in transactions related to mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, private equity and antitrust. In addition, he was involved with pro bono organizations, where he provided legal counsel in civil, corporate and labor matters.

- Represented administrative agent in providing $185 million senior secured credit facility in connection with acquisition financing of a dining chain.
- Represented administrative agent in providing $78 million senior secured credit facility in connection with acquisition financing of a manufacturer company of sport apparel products.
- Represented administrative agent in providing $100 million senior secured term loan.
