Overview

A. Colin Wexler is a Principal in the firm's Litigation Group. He represents clients in complex commercial litigation, including product liability, intentional tort and negligence claims, false advertising and consumer class actions, intellectual property, breach of contract and fiduciary duty, as well as claims based on both the federal and state false claims acts. He also focuses on the representation of licensed real estate brokers, advising these clients on the real estate brokerage laws in all 50 states and representing them before a variety of states' real estate commissions. 

Colin has significant experience defending class actions. In addition, he regularly counsels clients in the compliance with, and defends them against claims brought under, the Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA), Truth In Lending Act (TILA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the Electronic Funds Transfer Act (EFTA). 

Colin also defends clients in product liability and premises liability actions, and handles trademark, copyright, trade secrets and patent rights matters, including litigation under the Copyright Act, Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and Trademark Act.
