Patrick Cronin is a Senior Attorney in the firm's Commercial Finance Group. He represents financial institutions in documenting, negotiating and performing due diligence for asset-based and cash-flow commercial finance transactions. He also has experience representing buyers and sellers in mergers, acquisitions and leveraged buy-out transactions.
Mr. Cronin has also worked on various pro bono matters, with a focus on the representation of artists and arts institutions.
Prior to joining Goldberg Kohn in January 2018, he was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis where he represented private equity clients and their portfolio companies in merger and acquisition transactions.
Mr. Cronin received his law degree from the Columbia Law School in 2011, where he was an editor on the Journal of Law and the Arts and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. After graduating law school, he clerked for the Hon. Elizabeth Erny Foote of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana and for the Hon. Sara Ellis of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Mr. Cronin received his B.A. in Philosophy, summa cum laude, from Boston College in 2007. He is admitted to practice law in Illinois.
