Sarah Griggs is a principal in the firm's Commercial Finance Group. She represents banks, finance companies and other financial institutions in a large variety of asset based and cash flow debt finance transactions, including acquisition finance transactions, split-lien transactions, working capital facilities, second-lien financings, mezzanine financings and broadly syndicated transactions, as well as workouts and restructurings. Her practice primarily involves structuring, drafting and negotiating documentation for complex finance transactions involving borrowers in a wide-range of industries, including software and technology, restaurants, retail, manufacturing and  business services. Ms. Griggs also has extensive international lending experience, having worked on several transactions involving the laws of Australia, Canada, Germany, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Ms. Griggs is admitted to practice in Illinois. She received her law degree, cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law in 2009 and her B.A., magna cum laude, in international politics and economics, with a regional focus in Latin America, from Middlebury College in 2004.
