
Maya Foster is an Associate in the firm’s Commercial Finance Group. She represents banks, finance companies and other financial institutions in structuring, documenting and negotiating a broad range of commercial finance transactions, including acquisition finance transactions, first lien and second lien credit facilities, refinancings and other complex financial transactions. She also represents clients in workouts and restructurings.
Ms. Foster joined Goldberg Kohn in October 2020. She is a member of the firm's Diversity and Technology committees. Prior to joining Goldberg Kohn, Ms. Foster practiced in the Atlanta office of an AmLaw 200 firm and in the Chicago office of a global law firm.
She received her law degree from the University of Chicago Law School in 2017, and her B.S. in Communication and Rhetorical Studies, summa cum laude, with a double minor in Sport Management and Music Industry, from Syracuse University in 2013.
Ms. Foster is admitted to practice in Illinois.
