Carmina Franchesca Del Mundo has joined Goldberg Kohn as an Associate in the firm's Commercial Finance Group. She represents financial institutions in documenting, negotiating and performing due diligence for a broad range of commercial finance transactions.
Ms. Del Mundo graduated cum laude from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2020. While in law school, she was the Co-President of Northwestern's Diversity Coalition, and a mentor and active participant of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, the South Asian Law Students Association, and the Diverse Attorney Pipeline Program in Chicago. In 2019, she was awarded the Theresa D. Cropper Diversity & Inclusion Award and the Asian American Bar Association Law Foundation scholarship for her commitment to diversity and inclusion. Ms. Del Mundo was also Symposium Editor for the Journal of International Law and Business, Vice President of Special Events for the Hurricane Disaster Emergency Legal Project, a child advocate for Northwestern's International Children's Human Rights Clinic, and a 7th Circuit Steering Committee Member for the College of Labor & Employment Lawyers.
Prior to law school, Ms. Del Mundo was a Senior Project Manager with New Asia FSE, Inc., where she directed the entire process of architecturally designing and constructing commercial foodservice facilities for hotels, restaurants, assisted living facilities, catering companies and schools.
She received her B.A., magna cum laude, in International Relations from the University of Southern California in 2012 where she was a Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholar and a UCLA Law Fellow.
