Commercial Finance Principal Jenna Ward has been selected as one of the Secured Finance Network's "40 Under 40 Award" recipients for her leadership within and dedication to the structured finance sector.
Established ten years ago in 2016, SFNet's "40 Under 40 Award" celebrates the achievements of young professionals in the secured finance industry — movers and shakers who exemplify true excellence in their careers.
"Over the past decade, these honorees have come to symbolize what makes secured finance so dynamic and resilient: talented, principled leaders who step forward in times of uncertainty and help move the industry with them," says SFNet Chief Executive Officer Richard Gumbrecht in his introduction of the awards. "Alumni of this program are now leading and founding businesses, building teams, driving innovation, and mentoring the professionals who follow in their footsteps. Many have played integral roles in SFNet."
In her "40 Under 40 Award" profile, Jenna describes what she did early in her career to stand out. "One of the things I did early in my career that helped me stand out— both within my firm and with clients—was adopting a strong sense of ownership over everything I worked on," she says. "I approached each matter as if I were personally responsible for its successful conclusion."
Jenna and her fellow "40 Under 40 Award" recipients will be celebrated on June 11, 2026, at a ceremony held at The Plaza hotel in New York City.
Previous Goldberg Kohn "40 Under 40 Award" recipients are: Jeff Dunlop ('20), Seth Good ('17), Sarah Griggs ('22), Prisca Kim ('24), Danielle Juhle ('18), Chris Marquez ('23), and Joe Zizzo ('21).
