Jonathan Cooper and David Dranoff, both principals in the firm's Commercial Finance Group, will serve as instructors at the Commercial Finance Association's Advanced Legal Issues Workshop on January 13-15, 2010, in Los Angeles.
The three-day workshop will address a variety of major legal concerns for asset-based lending professionals. Designed specifically for non-attorneys, the Workshop will enhance participants' working knowledge of the legal principles that affect their jobs. Combining interactive discussion with both real-life and hypothetical casework, the program will cover Multi-Lender Transactions, Subordination, Documentation, Fraudulent Conveyance, Bankruptcy, Lender Liability and many other issues. A "Hot Topics" section will cover pertinent cases and developments in commercial law and regulation.
Mr. Dranoff leads the Commercial and Finance Group at the firm and both he and Mr. Cooper are members of the CFA and are frequent speakers on commercial finance issues.
