Kristoffer Gredsted has joined Goldberg Kohn as an Associate in the firm’s Commercial Finance Group. He represents banks, finance companies and other financial institutions in structuring, documenting and negotiating a broad range of commercial finance transactions. Previously, he was an Associate in the Chicago office of a global law firm.
Prior to his previous role, Mr. Gredsted practiced law with a large firm in Denmark where he gained experience advising lenders and borrowers in a broad range of domestic and international secured and unsecured debt transactions. He also represented financial institutions and governments in consumer and corporate bankruptcy proceedings.
Mr. Gredsted earned his J.D. in 2017 and LL.M. in 2014 from the University of Chicago Law School. While in law school, he was a research assistant for the International Human Rights Clinic, served as a Vis Moot arbitration coach, and was a member of the University of Chicago Law School Musical. He completed his Candidatus Juris from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2013.
Mr. Gredsted is multilingual in Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, English, and conversational Spanish.
