Miguel Castro Morales has joined Goldberg Kohn as Associate in the Commercial Finance practice group.
Miguel assists institutional lenders in negotiating, documenting, performing due diligence on, and closing financing transactions. Prior to joining Goldberg Kohn, he practiced in the Tax Department at the global law firm of Baker McKenzie, where he received the 2018 Diversity Fellowship Award. Miguel earned his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 2019. While in law school, he worked as a student-attorney in the Low Income Taxpayers Clinic, the Pediatric Advocacy Clinic and the Child Welfare Appellate Clinic. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from DePaul University in 2015. Prior to pursuing his law degree, Miguel owned and managed a tax preparation services business where he assisted individual and corporate clients in the preparation of their federal and state tax filings
