On Wednesday, November, 20, 2024, Richard Kohn and Bill Starshak will present SFNet Midwest's "International Lending 201" Lunch & Learn.
As a follow-on to the "International Lending 101" seminar they presented in October 2023, "International Lending 201" will be an advanced structuring workshop, demonstrating how to use the building blocks of cross-border lending to structure cross-border loans.
Using a comprehensive case study, Richard and Bill will show how to build a practical and effective lending structure that can accommodate the protections that the lenders require while still providing the borrower and its foreign subsidiaries with maximum availability and flexibility. Particular emphasis will be given to the use of "work-arounds" to overcome apparent obstacles.
Because the seminar will begin with an overview of the basics, attendance at last October's seminar is not a prerequisite.
The seminar will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Goldberg Kohn's offices at 55 East Monroe St., Suite 3300. It is free to attend and lunch will be served.
