On June 11, 2019, Michael Sullivan will co-facilitate the Broad Residency's "Labor Management Intensive" in Washington, D.C. The Broad Residency in Urban Education is a program of the Broad Center for the Management of School Systems, which develops leaders to help transform America’s urban public schools. For the second year in a row Mike was asked to co-facilitate the training of a cohort of America's visionary educational leaders and managers.

Commonly known for its coveted "Broad Prize for Public Charter Schools," Broad seeks to recognize excellence among school systems serving significant numbers of students of color and low-income students and to encourage them to collaborate and share best practices. The Broad Center identifies and supports "great leaders and managers who focus relentlessly on the true mission of schools—giving all students, no matter their backgrounds, the opportunity to succeed in college and beyond."
