Overview

Sean M. Gholz is an Associate in Goldberg Kohn's Commercial Finance Practice. He represents banks, finance companies and other financial institutions in structuring, documenting and negotiating a broad range of complex commercial finance transactions.

Prior to joining the firm in 2025, Sean was an Intelligence Officer with the Central Intelligence Agency.

Professional Background

Sean began his legal career as an associate in the Corporate Department at Cravath, Swain & Moore LLP, where he represented leading global financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies in joint ventures, portfolio divestitures, licenses, distributions, mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, restructurings and financings.

Before entering the legal profession, Sean served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, completing deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan.
