
Kirsten Yerger is an Associate in the firm's Real Estate Group. She assists institutional lenders in documenting, negotiating and performing due diligence for loans secured by a variety of collateral. She is experienced in handling loan transactions involving hotels, multi-family apartments, office projects and senior housing facilities. Ms. Yerger also represents clients in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of commercial properties.
In addition, Ms. Yerger represents clients in environmental matters, assisting in the review and understanding of environmental documents and regulations, and handling a range of transactional and compliance matters.
Prior to joining Goldberg Kohn in April 2019, Ms. Yerger practiced in the Greater New York City area where she represented clients in zoning and land use related matters, including guiding them through the local zoning approval process. She counseled clients on meeting requirements for land development and assisted in securing the necessary municipal and state permits. She also advised on regulatory and environmental matters, including federal and state administrative compliance issues with regard to environmental remediation.
Ms. Yerger earned her law degree, magna cum laude, and Environmental Law Certificate from Pace University Elisabeth Haub School of Law in 2017. While attending law school, she served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Edgardo Ramos of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She received her B.A. in Politics, with an Environmental Studies minor, cum laude, from Fairfield University in 2014.
