
Marques Winick is an Associate in the firm's Commercial Finance Group. He represents banks and other financial institutions in a wide range of asset-based and cash-flow loans, secured and unsecured lending transactions, and first and second lien facilities across a broad range of industries.
Prior to joining Goldberg Kohn in December 2021, Mr. Winick practiced in the Chicago office of an international law firm, where he represented banks, private equity firms and other financial institutions in asset-based and cash-flow secured and unsecured lending transactions, as well as in middle-market mergers and acquisitions. He is a member of the firm's Diversity Committee.
Mr. Winick graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 2019. While in law school, he was the Managing Editor of the Michigan Business & Entrepreneurial Law Review, the President of the Sports Law Society, and a mentor and senior judge for students in the first-year Legal Practice program. He also served as a Legal Intern for the United States Tennis Association in Orlando, and as a Law Clerk for the University of Michigan's Office of the Vice President & General Counsel.
Mr. Winick earned his B.A. in English, summa cum laude with Honors, with minors in Business Management and Spanish, from Case Western Reserve University in 2016. He was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and was a member of the varsity baseball team.
Mr. Winick is admitted to practice law in Illinois.
